What Makes In-Home Training Different
There's a reason Don trains in your home rather than asking you to bring your dog to a facility or a group class. Dogs don't misbehave in the abstract; they react to specific triggers in specific environments. The dog that pulls toward the road does it on your street. Every session is at least an hour. After each visit, Don sends you a written recap email detailing exactly what was covered and how to practise before the next session. He'll often have already spoken with you by phone about your goals, so the visit itself starts with introductions: meeting your dog, watching how they carry themselves, and reading how they respond to someone new in their space. It happens at home because that's where your dog's real behaviour shows, not in a waiting room or training facility.
Step 2 — A Clear, Honest Plan
After assessing your dog, Don tells you exactly what he can achieve, how he'll approach it, and a realistic timeline. You won't hear a sales pitch. You'll get a straight answer.
Step 3 — In-Home Sessions, In Front of You
