Dog Walking and Trail Walking
Regular walks help your dog release bottled energy, allow for daytime socialization with others, and encourage exercise and well-being. We also do trail/park walks for socialization—whether it's a leisurely stroll or a brisk walk, perfect for both puppies and adult dogs. We can schedule morning, midday, and/or evening walks, and we’re available most weekends. Potty breaks available!
Your dog will benefit with a good trail/dog parks walk each week. We are available most weekends to take your puppy or adult dog on a nature walk to relieve any stress and to give your dog a new social environment to be in and to have an additional exercise from his/her weekly routine.
Some of the parks we have been in with the doggies are:
- Cranberry Mountain Preserve – Haviland Hollow Road, Patterson, NY
- Lakeside Park – Pawling, NY
- New Fairfield Dog Park – Gilliotti Road
- Appalachian Trail – Off of Route 55, Pawling, NY
- Nuclear Lake – Pawling, NY

After assessment and discussing with clients, I outline what will be covered and achieved to eliminate any of the issues that are causing their dog to act out poorly.
Separation Anxiety:
There are many helpful things that I can teach you so your dogs' separation time away from you can be maintained to ensure he/she is more relaxed and less anxious while you are away.
Socializing Your Dog:
Socializing your dog is very important. During your dog's life, he/she will come in contact with other dogs at vet's, walks, etc.. and a well-behaved dog brings happiness to all that meet and greets him/her. Your guests are happy, your household is happy and their is less stress for all.
Lessons are 1 hour or more. Each lesson is typed out for our clients and emailed each week reviewing the lessons and detailing how to practice with their dog. I am only a call away if any of my clients need assistance.
Pet Sitting & Daily visits for your precious kitten/cat
CT: Danbury, New Fairfield, Bethel NY: Brewster, Patterson, Pawling, Poughquag, Holmes, Stormville, Dover Plains
It's untrue that all cats do fine staying home alone if you just fill up a bowl with a mountain of food and a big bowl of water. Things can go wrong in a house with an animal left alone; whether it’s a major medical emergency, fire, flood, electrical failure or just a minor medical problem, you wouldn’t want your cat suffering because no one checked on her during your weekend spent out of town.
It can be very stressful for a cat to find herself left completely alone for days, with no traffic of people coming and going for a long period of time. Too many people consider cats low maintenance and get them because they can go away for days and leave them alone, but please consider what this does to the cat, and how it puts the safety and health of the cat at risk. And For some cats, being placed in a boarding kennel, no matter how well run, is terrifying. As pet sitters, we take the time to play with the cat or interact in whatever way that particular cat enjoys which can make a big difference in keeping that kitty stress-o-meter at a manageable level.
How many visits do cats need?
Now to another tough question we get asked a lot, how many times a day is needed for cats? That depends entirely on your cat and his/her schedule. Though one visit might be enough for most cats, it can be very stressful for your cat to go from two meals, to suddenly one. It's not healthy for their digestion tract to gulp down in one meal what she normally would eat over multi meals. So if your kitty just has dry food left out, then one is probably enough if you feed her canned food morning and night, we suggest two visits to keep her on track, but again, it's up to what you feel most comfortable with.
